| Special Times To Remember Your Baby |
 |
|
| Parents who have suffered a death of a baby often dont
have many mementos of their childs life. Even those parents
whose babies have lived a short time, have very few experiences to
share with family and friends. Special memorial events give parents
concrete representation of their baby and it produces memories. Participating
in memorials with family and friends can be an important step in the
grieving process. |

| Annual Monarch Butterfly Release A
Beautiful Way To Remember |
 |
|
The Monarch Butterfly Release has been designed as
a family event at the Annual Picnic in June. Bereaved parents, siblings,
and extended family members are encouraged to share in this popular
event. Click
here for dates and times.
Families are invited ahead of time to order butterflies for the release.
The funds generated from these purchases go directly to financing
PBSO support services. At the picnic, participants are given their
pre-ordered butterflies. After a brief ecumenical service, the group
releases their butterflies together, making a colourful and positive
gesture in celebration of their babies short but significant
lives. The Monarch Butterfly Release and the Annual Picnic have always
been meaningful events and are the direct results of countless hours
of planning by many dedicated Volunteers. |
