| Fundraising Bowl-a-Thons |
 |
|
| Fundraising Bowl-a-Thons take place each Spring in
a variety of communities across Ontario. These fun, family events
generate a large part of PBSOs annual operating funds. Each
Bowl-a-Thon is coordinated by local Volunteers and involves teams
of families, friends, members of support groups or co-workers competing
for great prizes. Special prizes are awarded at each event to the
individual who brings in the most in sponsorship money and to the
team who collects the most pledges. It is open to all ages and to
bowlers of all skill levels. Click

| Fundraising Teas |
 |
|
| Fundraising Teas are scheduled throughout the year
and are events that should not be missed. They are held in beautiful
private homes and voluntarily hosted by community members who are
interested in PBSO. Invited guests can tour the home, enjoy elegant
food and drink and mix and mingle with an interesting group of people.
Draw tickets for a number of exciting prizes are sold to guests to
raise funds for PBSO. Frequently, private donations are also made
at these events, helping to boost overall revenue generated at the
teas. Click

| Molson Indy Bike Race |
 |
|
| As part of the annual Toronto Molson Indy Car Race
in July, the Molson Indy Foundation hosts a fun and exciting "Bike"
race for Charity. PBSO recruits teams of 10 people (all over 16 years
old) to peddle car-shaped bikes around a track. Teams compete for
prizes for the largest sponsorship amount as well as the fastest lap
time. Your company, family or union can sponsor a team and have their
name displayed on the car. Personal sponsorship of $100 per rider
is also a way to make this event a tremendous financial success. Click

| Other Fundraising Activities |
 |
|
| Every year individual Volunteers organize events in
their own communities which result in significant donations to PBSO.
In the past, these activities have included barbeques, a memory quilt,
sale of 50/50 tickets at sporting events and baby clothing re-sales.
PBSO encourages Volunteers to submit to the staff of PBSO any ideas
they may have that may help generate revenue for the organization. |
